John “Jack” Cahill is a native of Brockton, Massachusetts. He is a graduate of Bowdoin College and the New England School of Law. He was a lawyer for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts before entering private practice in his hometown and in Boston for fourteen years.
During that time, Jack tried dozens of civil and criminal jury trials. His practice included multi-million dollar civil cases for individuals, insurers and construction companies as well as defense of serious felonies.
In addition to trial work, Jack also appeared before the Massachusetts Court of Appeals.
After moving to Oregon in 2008, he joined a national firm concentrating on Social Security Disability cases. He has conducted thousands of hearings throughout the western United States. He returned to small firm practice in 2017 and began handling disability litigation for Evans & Evans in 2018.
